RzE's CS Helper is a light-weight alias and VGUI update pack
What does that mean?
Basically, RzE's CS Helper is an updated VGUI that ties in directly to the HL/CS client. It lets you modify more settings than the VGUI would normally have and has a clean and simple alias binding functionality.
Basics [+/-]
100% CS 1.6 compatible.
Quick and easy binding of aliases.
Reliable aliases, a modified version used by the Cyberathlete Professional League at 2 straight events.
Easy setup. The installer does all the work for you. None of your settings are changed.
Easy uninstall with .exe setup.
Designed with newbies, strong players, and pros in mind. Many players haven't discovered the benefits of aliases. Maybe it's time for you to discover them, or maybe it's time for you to move up to proven and simple code.
Brings aliases to users who have had no experience with them. Total transparency means that the aliases operate just as any other default CS command would.
While many scripting packages like to force developer, console, and even client settings onto you, with RzE's CS Helper all of your settings will be left in tact. The script is separated from autoexec.cfg and will never touch your variables unless you tell it to.
What does it really offer?
new! - To be used in the CPL 2003 Winter Event.
new! - Counter-Strike 1.6 and Steam compatible!
Buy weapons and equipment with the press of a key: no more b, 4, 2.
New controls: integrated duck-jump, duck-toggle, and walk-toggle.
Ammo automatically bought with all weapons. Keeps embarrassing 'click moments' to a minimum.
new! - Ammo limiter makes sure that you don't buy too much ammo with specific weapons. For example, the Scout can have up to 90 rounds in cache—no one needs that much! With RzE's CS Helper you get 30 rounds and some saved cash.
Weapons are selected when you buy them, whether you have autoweaponselect on or off.
new! - Whenever you buy a weapon, the pistol is automatically put in your lastinv slot (aka "Last Used Weapon") so you never get caught off-guard.
Get rid of keyboard clutter: you only need to bind one key for team-specific weapons (e.g., the AK-47 and Colt M4A1 share the same key), one key for all the grenades, and only one key for all three radio menus using the radio cycler.
An updated VGUI lets you access all the RzE's CS Helper commands with the press of a single key.\
Always be up-to-date with an easy auto-update functionality.
An easy name changer lets you change your name simply and quickly right from the VGUI, you don't even need the console!
Night Vision automatically activates after buying goggles.
Grab it here! Remember that RzE's CS Helper was built by a beta 1 veteran and long time webmaster of the popular Counter-Strike fansite, CS-Nation. Don't be discouraged if you're a long time CS player just looking for that extra edge, it's all good!
Used by the Pros
A modified version of RzE's CS Helper was in CPL events during 2001, 2002 and 2003. Good enough for SK.sca, 3D, you? I think so! Yeah, so it's not that big of a deal—an alias is an alias is an alias, right? Well, not really. Anyone in the world can start chomping keys and claim they just made some great aliases, but getting aliases used in the world's greatest CS matches is something that the other guys can't rely on.
My aliases are chosen time and time again because the CPL sees my aliases as the standards. The CPL knows my stuff works, so you can rest assured that my helper won't hurt your game in the least.
